-
- When it comes to standards, Atari is late on everything. Just be happy
- that they finally released the Jaguar. Now that we're talking about
- standards, why not come up with a new compromise.
-
- You all are talking about Word Processor standards while not even blinking
- an eye about regular GEM programs, or standards on how menu bars in windows
- should be handled, how dialogs should be created and handled, or anything
- of the sort. While we are having petty arguments over word processing
- standards which about 95% of the population DOES NOT PROGRAM; why not talk
- about GEM dialogs and come up with some standards for AES which 95% of
- Atari programmers use! That's WHY I joined GEM-LIST in the first place! :)
-

-
- What does LANGUAGE have to do with this? WHERE did THIS argument come in?
- See? It's getting SO petty that now we're arguing about language
- differences. It should be uniform, and if someone doesn't like it, TOUGH.
- This is the standard, THIS is how you do something, if you don't like it,
- MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN STANDARD! Stop bringing up foolish and stupid topics
- to argue about! We're wasting precious time arguing!
-
- Why not come up with a compromise and STICK with it. If you don't like the
- compromise, DON'T use the GEM-List Level standards! DON'T ARGUE! Why
- can't we all just VOTE on an idea, hmmm??
-
- (And you call YOUR argument REASONABLE???)
